Return Days
Many affiliate programs have the term "return days" in their terms and conditions. Basically, return days are the number of days from the user's intial click during which you can earn a commission as an affiliate. For example, if an affiliate program has 45 return days that means when a potential customer clicks on your affiliate link you'll get paid commission on action they take within 45 days of that first click (buy, subscribe, apply, etc). Usually a cookie is placed on the potential customer's computer. This cookie helps identify customers so that even if they don't buy on their first visit, but do buy within the "return day" period specified by the affiliate program, you still earn commissions since is was your affiliate link that got them to the website.
