Podcast

The word Podcast is a combination of the two words iPod and Broadcast.

Very simply put, a Podcast is like a digital radio show on the internet BUT unlike radio, you control when you listen to it.

A Podcast is recorded by a Podcaster and then made available for downloading. You can download the file to a personal audio player (like an iPod) or personal computer and listen to it whenever you want to.

You can also subscribe to the Podcaster's RSS feed and be notified (usually by email) when a new Podcast, or episode, is made available.
