A public forum or discussion area. All members can view all messages posted to a newsgroup. Newsgroups are a great way to network with others with similar personal or business interests as yours. Check out some newsgroups at: http://www.groups.yahoo.com/∞, http://www.topica.com/∞, http://www.groups.google.com/∞. Try to choose groups that are moderated, particularly for business groups. Otherwise, you may be inundated with get rich quick and other useless email. You can choose to receive the groups messages individually or in a digest (depending on the group, it can be daily, weekly or some other frequency).
