How To Create A New Page

In some ways, building new pages in this system is a lot like building new pages in Front Page™. Like Front Page™, any new pages you create may not necessarily be linked. So, if you create a new page without linking to it from an existing page, no one can find your page. Let's get started and build a page.

Step 1
Find the page where you want your new page to link to. E.g. I want to add a new definition definition on the 'N' page. I'd navigate to 'N' and click 'Edit page' found at the bottom left corner on each page (you need to be logged in to see this link).

Important: If your definition has several words like in the example above, do not put spaces between words. The system automatically recognizes WordsJoinedTogetherLikeThis as links. If you split them with spaces, the system doesn't know it's a link.
Step 2
The next page you'll see is the raw code. Place your cursor at the bottom most definition, hit Enter twice to start a new paragraph and type in the name for your new page like this

Click Store to save. You'll now see a new link on the 'N' page with a dotted line, like this:

Step 3
Don't worry, you haven't broken the system. The dotted line simply tells page editors (like you) that the link has been create but the page doesn't exist. That's because you haven't really created the page yet, only the link to it.

Click on the link and you'll get to a page with a big blank empty box like this.

Finally, you've got a blank empty canvas to actually write your definition in and build the page. But what do you put in it?

Step 4
You type in your definition of course. Enter the phrase or word you want to define, followed by your definition of it. Like this.

If you click the 'Store' button now, the page is saved, linked and ready. But, you'll notice it's not very pretty and it doesn't comply with our page formatting. So, you need to fix that.

Step 5
On the new page you just created, click 'Edit page' again to get back to the last step. To make the title bold, use two asterisks before and after it like this:

Save the page by clicking 'Store'. That's it folks.
